Shale Gas Industry

    详细说明

According to a recent study by the World Energy Research Institute (WRI), China's shale gas reserves are more than 30 trillion cubic meters, ranking first in the world, almost twice as large as the United States. With the smog and industrial structure upgrading in China, shale gas as a clean energy source has been highly anticipated, and there are many difficulties in commercializing shale gas in China. For natural gas pipelines in the United States, it is well-connected. If China sends natural gas from a certain place to all parts of the country, the pipeline network will continue to solve the big problem. The following picture shows the distribution of China's natural gas pipelines. It can be liquefied on site, but the cost is too expensive. Therefore, as the period of development of the flexible composite pipeline, the advantage of the period is particularly obvious: 

    · The natural gas pipe network branch line with smaller diameter and lower pressure can use flexible composite pipe. The advantage is that non-traditional laying method can be adopted for making continuous long coiled pipe, which saves a lot of laying cost; 

    · The development of shale gas requires the transfer of water to a dispersed water-filled fracturing well group. These pipes are not stressed and are usually laid on the ground, thus highlighting the advantages of detachable, lightweight, and easy to handle flexible composite pipes; 

    · Foreign countries have long explored the use of flexible composite pipes to transport natural gas over long distances. In 2006, the RTP standard ISO/TS 18226 for the delivery of natural gas at 4 MPa was released. 

    · There are reports at the international conference to introduce relevant experience. For example, Canada's AltaGas successfully used flexible composite pipes in more than ten natural gas transmission projects from 2005 to 2010. The accumulated pipeline length is more than 50 kilometers, the diameter is 2-4 inches, and the pressure is 3 MPa.
